Dashboard
Purpose
The dashboard is your control room. It shows the most important numbers and shortcuts for your role — not everyone sees the same dashboard.
Who uses it
All logged-in users (content varies by role).
Depends on
- Institution must exist and be selected
- Active academic session should be configured
- Data in other modules (students, invoices, etc.) fills the statistics
What you typically see
| Role | Example widgets |
|---|---|
| School Admin | Total students, staff, enrollment, financial summary, timetables count |
| Teacher | Class-related shortcuts, pending pickups, own timetable |
| Accountant | Fees collected, outstanding balances, recent payments |
| Student / Parent | Notices, marks link, own fees (where enabled) |
| Super Admin | All schools overview, subscriptions, platform stats |
Example story
The School Admin opens the dashboard on the first day of term and sees Enrollment: 420 but expects 450. She goes to Student Enrollments to find 30 students not yet placed in a class.
