Settings (School Operational Rules)
Purpose
Different from Configuration: Settings controls academic rules inside daily operations — lock attendance after 7 days, lock exam marks, block report cards if fees unpaid.
Who uses it
School Admin (with setting.manage permission).
Depends on
Institution selected.
Example values at Green Valley

Common questions
Q: Teacher cannot edit yesterday's attendance.
A: Grace period may have expired — Admin increases attendance grace period in Settings.
